Songkran สงกรานต์,
pronounced [sǒŋ.krāːn], is Thailand's most famous festival. An important event on the Buddhist calendar, this water festival marks the beginning of the traditional Thai New Year. The name Songkran comes from a Sanskrit word meaning 'passing' or 'approaching'. Chef Jett has created a Thai menu that signifies this auspicious and celebratory festival and all his special memories of his childhood in Bangkok.

The Sugar Refinery Grub & Grogs embodies the warmth of southern hospitality and the charm of the historic Sugar Land community.
The doors to The Sugar Refinery open to a 1920’s era bar and lounge. Themed as a rendition of a Prohibition-era inspired bar, it is fashioned in décor and furniture that’s styled in the era with bartenders and servers dressed in period attire. Walls have historical Sugar Land pictures of neighbors who lived there from 1920’s to 1960’s. Local drink connoisseurs enjoy a menu that ranges from craft beer to wine and whiskies from around the world, and creative cocktails concocted by expert mixologists. The food menu features a mix of comfort food dishes, with our award-winning chef’s unique take on original 19th century food trends.
